TRACING THE ROOT OF GOD’S KINGDOM

God said to Abraham ‘’ and I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curse thee and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed’’ (Gen. 12 :3) and I will make thy seed to multiply as the stars of heavens and will give unto thy seed all the countries, and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed (Gen. 26 :4). God established his covenant with Abraham. ‘’for in Isaac shall thy seed be called.’’ (Gen. 21 :12).

Esau and Jacob, the twin sons of Isaac were the chosen seeds. Esau was Isaac’s delight, he was black and hairy while Jacob was his mother’s delight, he was white. For God said to Rebecca ‘’Two nations are in thy womb, and two manner of people shall be separate from thy bowels, and the one people shall be stronger than the other people, and the elder shall serve the younger’’ (Gen. 25:23) Isaac threw morel light to God’s pronouncement.

In Genesis 27:40, he said ‘’And by the sword shall thou live, and shall serve thy brother, and it shall come to pass when thou have the DOMINION that thou shall break his yoke off thy neck’’. It was the will of God that Jacob cheated and took the blessing for it is written Jacob I love Esau I hate. Jacob is Israel and the origin of Israelites while Esau is Edom and origin of Edomites (Gen.36:1).

The real fulfillment of the pronouncement was the coming of the anointed one, our Lord Jesus Christ as the Israelite. The coming of our Lord through these people focused the attention of the world to Israelites as the chosen race. He is a blessing to the whole world. Now who determines when and how he spiritual yoke would be broken so that the Edomites will take this dominion?.

At the right time on God’s time table the pronouncement came: There I say unto you the kingdom of God shall be taken from you and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof ‘ (Matthew 21:43). Where is this nation that will take dominion? The anointed one is coming again but through this nation. Did the prophets predict the exact race, and features of his manifestation on earth? Yes, they did, Isaiah did. He asked ‘’ who is this that cometh from Edom. Wherefore are thou red in thy apparel? (See Isaiah 63:1-2)

Isaiah went further in chapter 53:1-3 to describe some features. ‘’who hath believed our report and to whom is the arm of the Lord revealed. As a root out of dry land, he hath no form nor comeliness, and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him, he is despised and rejected and wil esteemed him not, Isaiah gave a white man’s view of a black man’s features. For a black man to be described as fine looking he has to be all nice, complexion, attractive physical/ carnal –features etc.

Prophet Daniel interpreted the message God showed king Nebuchadnezzar in his dream of big image. The part of the dream that concerns our topic is the message in Daniel 2:43-44 ‘’And whereas thou saw iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men. But they shall not cleave one to another even as iron is mixed with clay.
And in the days of these kings, shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed etc. Daniel was talking about European Union a disintegration of Romans Empire.

The last book of the Bible before the coming of Christ was Malachi, apart from many predictions of his coming, God specifically in Malachi 4:5 mentioned of his coming as anointed one and the preparatory mission of Elijah. So in the book of Revelation the last book of the New Testament, our Lord revealed things that must take place thereafter despite his mentioning of Another comforter in St. John 14:16 ‘’ and I will pray the father, and he shall give you another comforter that he may abide with you forever. See also chapter 16:13-14

In re-emphasizing this pronouncement, in Revelation 3 :12, he said.. I will write upon him the name of my God and the name of the city of my God which is New Jerusalem which cometh down out of heaven from my God, and I will write upon him my New Name. Who is this third personality that bears the name of God the Father, and God the Son and the name of God’s kingdom on earth? This is the other comforter he promised. Isaiah had predicted that he will be rejected, and the scriptures must be fulfilled.

The book of Revelation further gave details of His mission and birth and the activities of Satan at the period of His birth. See Revelation 12:5 and 17, Revelation 19:15. He has come to judge and to rule the world. He had followers and Bible said they were clothed with fine linen, white and clean.

God’s kingdom must arrive with her owner to dwell with men on earth. In Revelation 21:3-4, John said ‘’ I saw the Holy city New Jerusalem coming down from God out of heaven prepared as a bride adorned for her husband and I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, behold the tabernacle of God is with men and he will dwell with them and they shall be his people and God Himself shall be with them and be their God.

In Revelation 22:4, it is said they shall see His face and His name shall be in their foreheads ‘’Revelation 19:13. The Bible said that this man who is to rule the world with a rod of iron was clothed with vesture dipped in blood and his name is called the word of God in confirmation of Isaiah’s prophecy of man from Edom clothed with red garments. In verse 12 of Revelation 19, it was said, he had a name written, that no man knew but himself (the anointed one) this confirms the earlier revelation of Rev. 3: 12 where Christ promised a new name on him.
